Diesel Mechanic
Full-time, minimum 40 hours per week, Monday thru Friday
FleetFix Truck Service is seeking a skilled and dedicated in-shop and/or field technician to join our team. Most of our work is done in-shop. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for automotive/heavy truck repair and maintenance. As a Shop Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that vehicles and equipment are operating at peak performance. This position requires both technical expertise and a commitment to quality service.
Duties
- Perform various types of repairs and maintenance on heavy trucks/bus.
- Conduct diagnostics to identify issues and recommend solutions.
- Repair diesel engines, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to improve shop efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge, particularly in automotive/diesel systems.
- Experience with automotive diagnostics tools and processes.
- Familiarity with electrical systems in vehicles.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues effectively.
- Knowledge of diesel engine repair is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Shift
Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4pm or 8am to 4:30pm
